My character spacing in sketch may be set to 3.7, which would be the equivelent of 100 in photoshop. Whenever i see posts on changing it, the 'characters' button isn't there. On photoshop, it will show some pink borders that will guide you on how evenly spaced you want after you've created the 8 by 8 letters template you can replace each letter by the one you want. Defines an extra space between characters (negative values are allowed).
